Full of blessings and wishes, praying for good fortune and auspiciousness

The Chinese knot originated in ancient times, flourished in the Tang and Song dynasties, and peaked in the Ming and Qing dynasties. It has always been a unique hand-woven knotting art among the Chinese folk, and can even be considered an intangible cultural heritage.

There are many kinds of Chinese knots, for example, "Wan Shi Ru Yi" is one of them: it is woven using the Pan Chang Knot (also known as the Peace Knot), the Oxalis Knot, etc. The main image is symmetrical in the center, and the whole image is symmetrical on the left and right, reflecting the beauty of tradition; the square shape highlights the flatness, and the extended coil makes the shape flexible; the carefully designed "all wishes come true" knot can make the space full of festive atmosphere, and the combination of fabrics and flowers can make the mind harmonious and peaceful, so that "everything goes well".

In terms of color, you can choose bright red silk rope weaving to show joy and beauty; you can also choose dark blue /purple series embellishment to add a sense of luxury.

The sacredness behind Knot Pandent

According to the Cihai, "In ancient times, there were flea branches, which were used to scratch the back. Because they could scratch the itch as one wanted, they were named "pandent". In modern times, they are made of jade, one or two feet long, with the ends shaped like a mushroom or a cloud for people to enjoy. The name is probably used to represent auspiciousness."

In Buddhism, monks would copy the key points on it when preaching. It is often used as a reminder and is called a Ruyi. It is now one of the Buddhist instruments held by Bodhisattva statues. In ancient times, when officials made reports to the emperor, they used a knot-shaped memo to keep them in mind. It was also used for command and personal protection.

Therefore, the "Wishful Things Go Well" knot means good luck, peace, and happiness in all four seasons.
