Japanese Harmonious Pastel (Pastel Nagomi Art) is a simple painting method that uses pastels and fingers to paint the artist's inner colors - it is a good medium for expressing art. The props and process are very simple, just use your fingers to feel the connection with the colors. Therefore, participants do not need any artistic background and can relax and express themselves. Focus on the present moment, without worrying about the past or future, and healing happens in the present moment. After the painting is completed, you can learn more about yourself and your friends through the sharing process.

Course time
This workshop will takes 2 hours, registration is available, booking in advance is request. For example, classes begin at 10am and finish at 12noon. We advise students to arrive no earlier than 15 minutes for the workshop.

Equipment
The course fee includes all the required equipment and instructor fees. There is no need to bring anything with you as all equipment is provided – and every student is presented with a Wonderland Art Workshop apron and tote bag to take home. You may want to bring a notepad and pen if you’d like to make notes.

Requirement
Suitable for – complete beginners and those looking to refamiliarise themselves with core skills.
However~You don't need any painting experience to try it. Just feel the connection with the colors with your fingers and you will feel the power of creativity.

The word "Nagomi" in harmonious pastels means soft tones.
In our opinion, it is called "harmonious pastels" because the final image is soft, whether it is cold or warm colors, and there is no conflict between the two because of the contrast. Even those colors the painter does not usually see can be well integrated into the painting.
And this is also like our hearts, whether it is the bright or dark side, through contact, dialogue and fusion, we can achieve a peaceful scene in the creative process.

Pastel Nagomi is one of our favorite workshops. The reason is simple. All the works are really warm and loving.

Our Founder and Creative Director, Vanessa Lee, is a Hong Kong native with an insatiable thirst for art and nature. During the workshop, Vanessa will teach everyone how to present the feeling of nature in the creative process and heal themselves through painting.
Although each workshop presents something new, it emphasizes healing our psychical self: creating art that perfectly matches our dreams rather than what others see as achievement.
